Hi, I tried to change the NUC boot logo on a BNUC11TNBI50000.
I used the tool "iChLogoWin64.exe". And it seemed like everything worked. However the Intel logo is still there.
First I extracted the Intel logo from the original bios file which worked. Then I replaced it with my own logo which also seemed to work. Because then I extracted the logo from the changed bios file and got my own logo back. I also tried this with a png and jpg file with the specifications given. I installed the bios via pressing F7 during startup. But I still see the Intel logo.
Did I miss something?
Regards

The following command to be used to replace the logo:
iCHLogoWin64.exe /i <input BIOS capsule file> /o <output BIOS capsule file> /r <logo file> [/f]

Thanks, but that is what I did. As I said I think it worked because I can extract my logo again with /e after that. However I still see the Intel logo even though it is not in the file anymore.

Hi @Patrick4
I confirm your findings that the tool/procedure for replacing Intel NUC logo is not working. I've tried to do this on my NUC FN. Although the tool reported that the logo was successfully replaced, actually it wasn't.
Hope that on Monday we will have some help from Intel Engineer.

Patrick4, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
I just wanted to check if the problem with the NUC Logo still persists?
If you do, please make sure that the latest BIOS version is currently installed on the Intel® NUC, 0058:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19698/bios-update-tntgl357.html?wapkw=nuc11tnbi5
Please attach the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":
Any questions, please let me know.

Hi Albert,
I've checked this on NUC FN with the latest BIOS (please see my post above). The Logo Replacement is not working. The new logo is inserted, but remains invisible, covered by Intel NUC logo. Try this in your lab.

Hi LeonWaksman, Thank you very much for sharing those details.

Hi Albert,
If you will open the command.png attached to my post, dated Oct 29, you will find that I've executed the correct command and get confirmation for success. However, after flashing this modified BIOS (I've used F7 method, F4 method and Jumper method), still the Intel Logo was there.
I've even tried to do this replacement in two steps: first deleting the existing logo and in next step, I've added my logo. Again, both steps were successful, however, the Intel Logo was there and the new logo not.
Please see the attached image with commands executed. So in this case I thing it is necessary to verify this procedure in your lab.

Albert R.,
Is there any update to this? I had followed the exact instructions as above before I found this thread and even did it again to be sure but just like the gentlemen above I have failed to see any result with the tool "iChLogoWin64.exe"
It failed to replace the logo on my NUC 9 Extreme as well.

Hi Everyone,

Hi everyone,
My apologies for the delay in getting back to the community.
We are having mixed results and we are still investigating this issue.
The only workaround I can think of at this moment is that you send me (attach) your logo and I will create a BIOS .cap file for you to update your system BIOS.
Let me know if this works for you.

Hi Ronny,
I don't need to change logo. I was only testing to be able help. I hope that in the future the iChLogoWin64.exe/BIOS will be fixed?

I also think fixing the problem would be the appropriate solution here. But meanwhile I would also send you the logo. How can I send it to you?

I'm also experiencing the same issue. Whatever I try I keep seeing the Intel NUC logo during bootup.
Trying this on NUC11TNKi5 with BIOS TN0062.cap and the latest BIOS TN0064.cap
Both with BMP and PNG logo files. I attached both files. Maybe someone can check if these files support the logo file requirements
Command used for replacing the logo file:
I also tried removing the logo from the CAP file and then insert another logo to this CAP file and save it as a new CAP file.
Didn't fix this issue as well.
