I just upgraded duo processor t6400 2.0ghz to duo processor t9600 2.8ghz. And,i also wish I could do the same for ram memory. I wish I could upgrade it from 4gb to 8gb,but, before i proceed on that,i would like to know the maximum ram limit for the motherboard and processor itself.

This processor frrom 2008 did not include a memory controller.
The GM45/GM47 supported a max of 8GB, BUT... You will have to check with the motherboard/laptop manufacturer for specifics.
Also, I hope you checked with the motherboard/laptop manufacturer to see if their bios supports the T9600.
Personally, I see no benefit in trying to upgrade such an old device. Better to spend your money on a new/newer device.
