*** Custom temperature fan regulation NOT Working! ***

Hello Intel

I have NUC8i5BEH with latest firmware. I noticed fan rpm regulation does not work properly in Custom setting:

1. It wont regulate - doesnt matter what Min. Temperature and %/C I set

2. As soon as cpu cross 70C fan gets high rpms by jump-3370 rpm-so ~66% pwm

3. Regulation time - it took almost minute to get agan to min. rpm% after I shut testing aplication (cpu util. to 1%)

I am adding screenshots as a proof. Tested with performance testing application. It renders some object and suck ~30W

First picture is pure balance fan mode - regulation works - fan is slowly spinning up.

Second pictutre - I have made only one change - lower Min. rpm % by one - so to 34%. So mode went automatically to Custom. Save and reboot. As you see, in the begining no regulation, then something strange, then cpu hit 71C and goes straight to 3370rpm - too much NOISE!

Dear Intel, may I ask you to fix this issue on next bios release. End user CAN NOT choose any suitable setting! Three preset (cool, Balanced, Quiet) are all at minimum 35% - too noisy when you have next to lcd display.

Custom - can not be used as computer just goes suddenly to 3370rpm!

If also possible to lower sliding filtering window to get quicker response.

Intel, you are the biggest company, it is 2020, should not be problem to implement such an easy regulation method. (it is not even PID, no?)
