Anyone have a newer BIOS for The DP55KG? The latest I have is the Junue 30/ JULY 01 2011 bios.

KGIBX10J.86A.5936.2011.0630.2250

But some BIOS updaters are telling me there is a newer one available. Since this board is discontinued is there an after market BIOS?

RobyneHeud,

KGIBX10J.86A.5936.2011.0630.2250 (build 5936, released at 10:50 PM on June 30, 2011) is indeed the latest BIOS that we (Intel) have released for the DP55KG board.

I have looked for it everywhere in the web and it does not appear, I urgently need to update the Bios, Thank you.

This thread is seven years old and you are asking about an 11-year old board, which has long been discontinued.  Intel posted an announcement back in September 2019 about support files for discontinued boards being pulled.  You had plenty of time in the past nine years to update the bios.

You can find the release notes here:

I have attached the 5936 bios for you.

Thank you so much. After several days of work I managed to update the BIOS, too easy, just using the F7 key after boot, incredible, I did not even remove the yellow ping. It is excellently updated, but another problem arose. I know that it is almost impossible to boot from the SSD, but now it is so slow that it is almost impossible to reinstall Windows 10 on the Digital HD I had, I have tried on two different HD, and it does not work, I have 32Gb of RAM memory and an 8-core processor, it's incredible how spends hours trying to install windows and can't do it, I can't understand what happens now, I've made so many attempts and settings in the BIOS that I don't know what else to do. When I was using the old version of the Bios, it installed Windows 10 in about 15 minutes.

Do you have any solution.....?

Replace the HDD with an SSD and your install and boot times will be much faster. Since this board is no longer being supported, it may be time to upgrade.
