DSA issue: Why is Dual Band Wireless driver 5 months old?

On 12/4/2019 I saw the update dated 7/15/19 for this driver for the first time.

 

What is the explanation for the months-long delay in including it in DSA?

Usually the IDSA shows drivers, included in download page only after it was verified for specific computer/board. This takes time.

Leon is correct; for the NUC products, no driver package is made available unless it has been formally validated on these products. If you want to experiment with newer versions, feel free to manually download and install them.
