Due to work reasons, I am considering whether to combine the two hard disks into RAID 0. I want to know whether the RAID provided by the BIOS of the mainboard is hard RAID or soft RAID, that is, whether THE RAID calculation occupies CPU.
What I know from the motherboard manufacturer is that they said that the motherboard adopts THE STANDARD RAID of B460 chipset, and there is no other explanation, so I thought of coming to Intel to continue to seek help.
Thank you very much!

Hello 佳伊,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
I would like to let you know that our controllers are Hardware/Software Raid controllers (hard RAID and soft RAID), they work combined
Also, the RAIDs need the processor to calculate the onboard RAID controller for the arrays. I recommend you to check with the motherboard manufacturer for drivers and configuration.
