I read an blog post that NUC has two NVMe type M slots which are used for expandable SSD. However, can that slot be used for an expandable USB bus like this one?
Please let me know if there are other products or approaches to this problem.
Only with the top removed although I am surprised that you somehow ran out of USB ports on yours. I have 2 of these and out of everything you can say about them, the one thing Intel went absolutely nuts on was the ports.
Intel does not consider this part of their POR and does not validate for it. There is thus no guarantee that non-storage devices will work in the M.2 Type M connectors. Sorry, ...S
