Does anyone know how to download the Intel® System Debugger IDE? I am a graduate student trying to learn BIOS security; I bought some intel NUCs. Are these devices usable for DCI?
I tried to download the bring-up tools but it seems I need NDA. A field in the request form asks for "Intel representative " which I am unsure what to write.

Hello @Thimpu
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
Just to make sure we have the correct information to review this further, could you please confirm the following details?
1- Is this the tool that you are looking for? >> "Intel® System Studio IDE > Intel® System Debugger"
2- Are you trying to download the Intel® System Bring-up Toolkit and is this the form that you are filling in? "Request Access to the Intel® System Bring-up Toolkit¹".
3- Please provide the model number(s)/SKUs of the Intel® NUCs that you purchased:
4- When you said, "Are these devices usable for DCI?", what does "DCI" stand for in this scenario? Do you mean Direct Connect Interface (DCI)?
Note:
1- An "Intel representative" usually refers to an Intel Sales Representative or an Intel Field Application Engineer (FAE) who is a dedicated contact for a particular company or account. An Intel representative works directly with the companies/customers to assist in different areas.

Hello Thimpu
Thank you for your patience in this matter.
In regards to your inquiry: "Are these devices usable for DCI?", we would like to inform you that the Intel® NUCs NUC7i[x]BN have the DCI feature turned off due to the fact that Sky Lake and Kaby Lake processors are susceptible USB exploit. The Intel® System Debugger will not work on this NUC NUC7i3BNH.
Also, other models, are not designed as a low-level development platform. DCI-enabled BIOS is not available.
For your inquiry about "how to download/get the Intel® System Debugger IDE?", and since you may need access to NDA documents in the Resource & Documentation Center (RDC), you will need to ask for support through the Developer Zone community due to that is the proper channel of support for Intel® System Debugger.
Best regards,
Andrew G.
