Hi, I set up my NUC 10i5FNH in January. My internal SSD is a Samsung NVMe 500Gb M.2.
I have an external SSD in a caddy with USB lead. I have cloned internal to external drive as a back up. Everything looks fine in disk manager. The drive is an M+B key so I can't test it in the NUC.
The external drive shows up in the boot priority menu as 'J' drive.
I set J drive as first in priority but it will not boot. I get a blue screen with a message which says "No accessible boot drive" it restarts automatically and then same again.
I suspect it is a BIOS setting I am missing as the external drive has worked without problem on my old HP Pavilion i3 which I just replaced.
Thanks in anticipation.

Hello dwhail,
Thank you for posting the Intel* Community.
To better assist you, please provide us with the below details:
- Provide us with a picture of your Boot Order.
Also, when booting with the internal driver, provide us with the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU)
- Download the Intel SSU https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-
- Open the application and select "Everything" click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
- Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".
Best regards,
Maria R.

Hi Maria R,
I gave up with the external drive and put a smaller SSD in the SATA 2.5 bay in the base.
My apologies, I should have closed the ticket earlier.
