Hello Musicfiend,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I am sorry to know that you are having issues with your Intel NUC.
In order to better assist you, please provide the following:
1. What is the exact brand and model name of your NUC?
2. Does this happen with any G Skill RAM or any RAM model?
3. Do you see a blink pattern on the power bottom when you try to turn on the NUC?
4. Can you share the forum link of the other reports on this issue?
5. Does this happen with this G Skill RAM or with all the G Skill RAM modules?
Regards,
Deivid A.

1: Nuc 12 Extreme
2. No, this appears to be the only one not working correctly however it works fine on the Nuc 11 extreme. Several people have verified this. The model # is F4-3200C18D-32GRS
G.skill 3200 mhz ddr4 260 pin
3. In regards to the blink pattern, there was no blink pattern, until I manually select XMP Profile 2 in test the G.SKILLZ, after which I had to do a BIOS reset by removing the BIOS jumper security on the motherboard (it's a tiny little yellow cover). Once I reset the BIOS things were back to Auto and to normal. That's the only blinking pattern I received.
4. It’s on Reddit. Let me know if you still want me to send you the link.
5. It only happens with the model I mentioned above but the RAM is not the problem. It’s something with the Nuc 12 extreme because as I mentioned several people are using the same RAM in the Nuc 11 extreme just fine and it’s working at the correct speeds.

Hello Musicfiend,
Thanks for the information provided. In order to continue with the investigation I will need you to confirm the following:
1. Based on the following link, what is the model of your NUC:
2. Does the issue occur with any of the Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (Intel® XMP) profiles?
3. To confirm, does the NUC crash after it boots or it does not boot at all?
Regards,
Deivid A.
