Hello orby,
Thank you for joining this Intel Community.
I would like to do research about this issue. Please provide the Intel® NUC model (e.g Intel® NUC Kit NUC7i7BNH) you have to properly address this concern.

not sure why the model i use helps in getting this answered, it's a simple question of why are the NUC's always over a month behind on the mainstream driver release
this is the most current one for the NUC's which for me showed up on the driver page Monday https://downloadcenter.intel.com/search?keyword=NUC7I7BNK Search downloads dated 27th September, mainstream release date was 29th August https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27988/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10?product=97503 Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10

Hello orby,
Thank you for your reply.
'Generic graphics drivers' may be supported by different platforms. From these the different product teams, Intel or other manufacturers (OEM, third-party board manufacturers, etc.), then validate/customize the driver for their systems such as Intel® NUC products.
It is worth noting that although there are graphics drivers versions validated for Intel® NUC products, you can also test the newly released driver for the processor graphics in case you are experiencing any graphics-related issue.
