I have bought a few NUCs BOXNUC7PJYH2 with Pentium J5005 and after experiencing problems on just some of them, I've noticed that only difference is slightly different named graphic processor. They are suppose to be the same computer.
One working fine is with Intel UHD Graphics 605 (Geminilake) where I have turned off screen tearing by simple config file as instructed in https://learnubuntumate.weebly.com/screen-tearing-on-intel-graphics.html
When I create the same config file on ones with Graphics 605 (GLK 3) I'm not able to log into Ubuntu graphical interface, it just returns me to the login screen.
As their prime purpose is displaying video, screen tearing is the deal breaker. Is Geminilake older model? Anyone know another method to resolve screen tearing on Ubuntu?
I have already made fresh installs and updated everything...
