I have the Intel NUC8i5INHJA NUC which has the AMD Radeon T 540X (note the "T") discreet graphics. The newest driver for this is from September 2019! C'mon, folks a nearly 2-year old driver is the latest available? Thing is, the latest Radeon 540X (no "T") driver installs fine and works fine, but the first time Windows update runs, it re-installs the old "T" driver. I'd really like to run a newer driver than 09/2019.
Any ideas? TIA.

Rubbish. They (AMD) just released a new driver.

AMD provides the driver, not Intel. And, on the page I provided, you can also auto detect. And, on the Intel product specification page for your device, Intel provides a direct link to the AMD driver. And, you need to stop Windows from overwriting your driver.

Rubbish??? Really??? Guess you did not read my post. I'm fully aware that AMD provides the drivers. As my post stated, the 540X (Non "T") driver works fine, but windows update overwrites it with the two year old RadeonT driver. And just how does one stop Windows update from doing this? That was my question.

No, I read your post. Search the net to find out how to stop Windows overwriting your driver.

Hi @HenryH
You may download the Microsoft tool, to hide AMD Graphics Driver update by Windows: Hide Windows Updates or driver updates

Hi @HenryH
The Microsoft link to download showhide tool is broken now. So, use the MajorGeeks link
