With the new 0065 bios for HADES Canyon, I did the upgrade.
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/30257/BIOS-Update-HNKBLi70-
- I backed up the machine (always a good thing to do).
- I installed 0065 via F7
- Immediately after reboot, I did F2, F9, F10.
- Immediately after reboot, I pulled the power cord.
- I waited 15 minutes
- I booted.
- I tested using the LED manager.
- I had no LED problems before (using 0064), and I had none after installing 0065.
Just saying.

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
We do appreciate the time that you took to provide us with your feedback, this is helpful for us and for the community as well.
We are glad to know that you did not experience any issues with any of the BIOS versions tested (0064, 0065).

Upgraded mine too:
[ +0.000000] DMI: Intel(R) Client Systems NUC8i7HVK/NUC8i7HVB, BIOS HNKBLi70.86A.0065.2021.0113.1340 01/13/2021
worked fine.
Copied the HN0065.bio to the root of the EFI partition, then rebooted and selected F7, find the file and load it.

The only issue I have been having is unchanged although I don't know what specifically is causing the problem.
I have 2 800P Optane drives in RAID 0 and have more than a year now. At one point I was able to use Intel's SSD toolbox to manage this array and even update firmware of the individual drives.
Intel replaced the toolbox with the Memory and Storage Tool and ever since then this is what my array looks like to Intel's software:
This bug has survived 2 driver updates, 2 BIOS updates and 3 OS installs so I am not seeking support. I am providing a bug report.
