Hey guys,
I bought myself an Intel NUC8i5BEK, paired with G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4-2400 CL16 2x 8GB and a Silicon Power P34A80 256GB M.2 SSD. I'm using Win 10 Pro 1909 64 Bit.
I wanted to use it as an HTPC able to play 4k60 HDR and even some lighter games.
Now I first tried it with an HDMI Audio Extractor, because the Screen I'm currently using (Samsung U28D590D) doesn't have speakers, with an S/PDIF cable from there to my Logitech Z906. Only Stereo available.
Then I tried my dad's TV (Sasmung UE60F7090) that is paired with a Yahama YSP-4000. Still only Stereo.

JIhle, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
For this specific scenario what we can try first is to update the BIOS of the Intel® NUC Kit NUC8i5BEK to the latest one, which is version 0077:

Actually I believe this is a Windows 7 problem. My nVidia card cooked on me so I'm back to my integrated Radeonn HD 3300 via HDMI, and it is the same way, 2 channel only walgreenslistens. However, prior to installing that nVidia card I was using Vista on this machine, and I had 7.1 and even dolby digital working to my Sony AV receiver.
