So I installed on my Hades Canyon NUC8i7HVKVA latest AMD Adrenaline driver from AMD site as required by Intel driver support and now Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Premiere Rush and Davinci Resolve don't work anymore!
The driver works, example, with 3DMark but all video editor suites are unusable!!
Now I can't work and previuos drivers are unavailable.. is it possible none has reported this issue?
Please help ASAP!
What version of adrenaline did you install? from where did you get it?
What version of intel graphics do you have installed?
What version of W10 do you have installed? 1909? 2004?
ok, thank you. 19.12.1 works, from 19.12.2 not.
so latest driver listed as working in Hades Canyon driver list (20.2.2) should be directed to 19.12.1 and not to 20.x versions:
Regarding the lack of updated Graphics drivers for Hades Canyon and I apologize for that, we are still working on this matter and unfortunately I don't know when or how we are going to make this happen but as soon as I get more details I will be posting a quick announcement under our NUC community landing page.
@8rnity You may want to try the procedure here to update to the latest driver available from AMD:
Doc (not an Intel employee or contractor)
I just lost 3 hours of work time because of this problem, which was reported here in July. So apparently there is still no solution except to install an ancient version of the graphics driver.
Intel, it would be finally time to give this good piece of hardware also the necessary software support. I'm starting to regret the purchase.
Are you okay with AMD Adrenalin version 19.12.1 for now? We are working with AMD* to release a more recent version of the driver that also supports Hades Canyon but this may take some extra time.
Leon, Doc, Thanks for shining your light on this subject!
