Hello, I have a newly purchased NUC7CJYH2. worked fine for the first 2 weeks but suddenly rebooting beccame an issue. It reboots into black screen, NUC just sitting there. Only fix is to pull the plug, en boot it up via the on/off button.

  1. While in Windows, press Windows key + r. Run msconfig
  2. Chose Boot tab and check Safe boot. Reboot your system.  Your system should reboot in Safe Mode.
  3. While in Windows, press Windows key + r. Run msconfig
  4. Chose Boot tab and uncheck Safe boot. Reboot your system.  Your system should reboot in Normal Mode again.
  5. Booting in Safe mode can fix boot problems, so try this.

thnx, but i think I found the cause. This NUC was built to replace a packardBell which was connected to 15meter HDMI cable. its only purpose was to constanty show a webpage.

I think the NUC has trouble with the long HDMI cable. I took the NUC home and rebooted it a couple of times at my test HDMI screen, works just fine.

Is there something like a HDMI cable which is too long? the packard bell computer never had this issue. Or is the NUC too underpowered to handle the long HDMI cable?
