Hello rgeor10,

Thank you for joining this Intel® Community.

To better assist you, please generate a system report with the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) and attach it to this thread.

  • Intel® SSU Download link
  • Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
  • Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  • To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".

my windows does not support bluetooth

are there any ways to let it work on my device rather than the bluetooth adapter?

You can contact your laptop manufacturer and ask them if your laptop can support a wifi card that includes bluetooth.  If so, then you can replace your existing card with the wifi/bluetooth card.

But, this is doubtful.

The alternative is to use a Bluetooth USB dongle. Here is an exsmple: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0775YF36R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_dXDaFbA68GFCY. The range of these dongles can be limiting; good for headphones though.
