I tried to reset my newly bought NUC, Chose remove all files (full clean) and I have an SSD in and chose to remove for both drives (the SSD does not have anything so it should be fine), When it got to 3%, it said "there was a problem resetting your PC. Nothing was changed"
I removed the SSD and tried it again, was able to see 66% and then it went back to "there was a problem resetting your PC"
How do i install the windows 10 back to this NUC?

If you have problem with Windows resetting (which is practically returning to factory settings), you can rather perform clean install: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-clean-install-windows-10-a.html Windows 10 Forums

Thanks for the reply. The link that you gave, does that require a Windows 10 installer? NUC5PGYH comes built-in with Windows 10. Creating the bootable USB would require a windows product key, right? Would you know where can i find the product key for my NUC? Thanks again

1. To do Windows 10 clean installation you will need an USB stick with Windows installation. In para. 1 of the tutorial I've send you have link to Microsoft site to prepare such USB.
2. When a computer is supplied with Windows installed, usually a label with the product key is attached to the bottom of the computer. If do not have product key, click on I don't have product key (see para 8 in this tutorial). You will need to reactivate your Windows after installation is finished: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12440/windows-10-activation https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12440/windows-10-activation
3. One more thing. If your NUC is still booting into Windows and you want just replace your installation, instead of clean installation, you may repair your Windows with an In-place upgrade. This can be done only from within Windows: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/16397-repair-install-windows-10-place-upgrade.html Windows 10 Forums
Hope this helps

Will try this out - Thanks so much!

It's not booting on windows anymore... I'm guessing the data removal pushed through on the clean install process. I hope I could have the USB thing to work.

Your NUC is not booting may be because the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) or Boot sector was corrupted. I'll suggest you the following guide to fix the problem. It can not heart you any more, because your Windows doesn't boot. If you will succeed, you will be able replace your Windows with Windows upgrade (para. 3 in my post above).
You will need the USB Windows Installation media to boot to advanced menu. To boot from this USB, press F10 during boot when Intel logo and F2,F7, F10 menu appears. From this menu chose the line with your USB with Windows with UEFI option. Now continue according to this:https://pureinfotech.com/repair-master-boot-record-mbr-windows-10/ https://pureinfotech.com/repair-master-boot-record-mbr-windows-10/
In the command prompt execute the following commands:
Bootrec /fixMbr
Bootrec /fixBoot
Bootrec /RebuildBcd

I was able to install Windows 10 using a USB stick. Bought a SSD to have that as the system drive. Turned off the eMMC through the BIOS. It did not ask for the product key. I guess it's in the BIOS? Anyway, big thanks sir for all the help!

No, it is stored on Microsoft's servers. When you logged in, it automatically verifies your hardware against this stored certificate and, if it matches, the installation will be activated.

What Scott says is also true as long as the copy of Windows has been activated before. The official Windows product key is also in the BIOS so the NUC will activate automatically when it is connected to the internet. You can use the included Windows 10 software or use a copy downloaded from Microsoft and do a clean install too. Either way will activate with no problems.
Thanks.

@jonnesterok You respond to a three-year old thread with link bait. I reported it as spam.
