How to connect 3 independent display to the 8i5BEK2?

Does it work to attach a simple HDMI splitter? I have tried a USBc splitter that offers different to ports. however, that one only clones the display but does not identify the individual display.

What HDMI splitter to be use best? I have seen one that requires additional power support. others not.

Now confused.

When using HDMI splitter will that allow the NUC to identify each display individually?

RNien, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

In reference to your question, yes you can connect 3 independent displays to the Intel® NUC Kit NUC8i5BEK, one HDMI 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz and two DisplayPort 2160 x 2304 at 30Hz, via USB Type C using DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport capability as you can confirm in the link below page 13:

https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/mini-pcs/nuc-kits/NUC8i3BE_NUC8i5BE_NUC8i7...

It is best to use adapters or splitters that have their own power source, those are called active adapters/splitters. In the following link you will find the list of them that were tested as compatible with the Intel® NUC Kit NUC8i5BEK, keep in mind some other components besides the ones showing in the link are also compatible, it's just they have not been tested by Intel®, look for "Adapters and Dongles":

Any questions, please let me know.

Thank you Albert, I was looking through the list of "Adapters and Dongles". Unfortunately there is no item or adapter listed that provides 2 display ports with USB C input.

But based on the specs I have found in Amazon some adaptors that might work. Please let me know if you would rule out any of them right away. I understand that these are not Intel tested and any answer from you is still a testing for me without warranty that it will work :-)

RNien, You are very welcome, thank you very much for sharing those details.

Regarding your question, as you mentioned, since Intel® did not test any of the adapters you provided on the links, we cannot guarantee that they will work as expected with the Intel® NUC. In this case, as an option, one of the things to try, will be to get in contact directly with the manufacturers of any of those adapters and verify with them if they have tested them with the Intel® NUC to confirm if they actually work properly with it.
