Any help on the DX58S02 mobo and the skull/eyes light problem would be fantastic! I do not know how to get it to work.

You may want to consider testing the motherboard out of the case and with the minimum components. In this scenario the Hard Drive will be needed to see activity from the skull eyes.
Even though is less likely, a BIOS update/recovery may be helpful.
