I have a new NUC8i7BEB system it has a i219-v ethernet card, I am attempting to get it to a working state, the network freezes, drops packets,

Hello @cboka1​ 

Please verify in this link that you have the latest bios and driver installed: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/126140/Intel-NUC-Kit-NUC8i7BEH

In you case pay special attention on:

  1. Ethernet driver
  2. Chipset driver
  3. Management Engine

Yo may update other drivers also
