I need to update the serial IO driver on my Acer laptop. model ES1-512 with Windows 8.1 and Bing 64 bit.

The Acer care centre failed to update this driver. I have found more than 6 drivers for Win 8.1 on the Intel support page, but have no idea which to use. Very technical language.

Any help gratefully accepted.

1. You have asked your question in wrong place. This Intel forum for NUC Mini PC. Intel is not giving support for Acer laptops.
2. Any way I've founded in Acer site that the latest Serila IO Driver for your laptop, running on Windows 8.1 is version 603.9600.1948.29470 . Many thanks Leon for your assistance. I confess to being technically illiterate. This problem with the serial IO driver I suspect is stopping me connecting other peripherals to my laptop. Acer support is non existant. I came here as it is an Intel driver.
