Latest Microsoft driver (220.127.116.11 from 2013-01-13) behaves the same (supports 802.11g only). In the past, my Wireless-N 1000 performed well in 802.11n in 5 GHz with Win7. But that old driver doesn´t work with Win10.
So, this has nothing to do with an Intel nuc?
Did the thinkpad come with the N1000?
What version of Windows 10? 1903?
The N1000 was discontinued 3 years ago and is not supported on windows 10.
Also, you must work with Lenovo regarding adding a compatible wireless card to the thinkpad. You cannot simply add the card of your choice.
