IGD aperture size

The bios of my NUC8i5BEH allows to set:

IGD Aperture Size. Default is 256MB. What does this mean? Will it improve performance when I select 1024MB?

I have 32GB RAM. Wouldn't mind giving more of it to my graphic chip if it improves things.

Leave the IGD Aperture Size value at default. This value is used only for BIOS during boot process or while you are opening Bios settings. Increasing this value, may be result in "black" screen. The Windows O.S. and the Intel Graphics Driver assigning the correct amount of system memory for graphics.
