Installing GPU in m.2 slot of NUC11TNKi3

Hey i'm trying to install a GPU in my NUC11TNKi3's m.2 slot with an adapter and a riser card, but it is not detected. In the BIOS i can only find this slot under "storage" settings, will this slot not work with anything else than a m.2 ssd?

And yes i have tried the adapter and riser card in another computer, works fine

Are you talking about the 22x80 M.2 slot? This is intended and validated only for the connection of an M.2 NVMe SSD. This kind of expansion should be done via Thunderbolt. I also believe that the 22x43 M.2 connector can be used for this purpose (it says supports PCIe x1 expansion).
