FINAL UPDATE: December 11, 9:45a PST
IDSA appears to be working for the majority of users now.  If you are still having issues running the IDSA scan, please open a new thread for assistance.

Thank you,

My attempt was rejected as "flooding". Can't post Zip. At least I can say it was DSA Update Service v20.10.42.85

Hi, I'm experiencing an endless scan. I've included the zipped log files from my IDSA. Hope it helps in resolving this issue.

@AlHill  @RolandT  @vitus @Kupuna  This is Monique with Intel.  We are releasing a new version of IDSA today that has a fix for the endless scan issue previously reported.  However there is a completely unrelated issue with our Intel Download Center servers that is impacting IDSA as well as other Download Center pages.  This has has been escalated internally and we are waiting for a fix.

Thanks for your patience,

Monique with Intel Corporation

Back to endless scan.

What is worse is that the DSAService.exe app is using 50% CPU making the fans go crazy.

I have 3 Nuc's which are having this problem.

As of today I have done a fresh install of windows on all three with all of them presenting this problem.

Running latest version of the intel software updater with latest updates to windows 10 applied.

3 Nuc's are as follows.

NUC8i7HVK

NUC87BHEH4

NUC8I7BEH

Could you please advise on correct path to logs as I am unable to find any from all three.

There are locations of intel in both the following directory's but no signs of any logs.

C:\ProgramData

C:\ProgramDataX86

I also note that since the upgrade of windows 10 to the H2 all 3 Nuc's show the same error's in device manager where they never used to show before.

Add me to the list.

DSAService process hogging CPU after waking the NUC8i5BEH from sleep this morning. Updated to IDSA 20.11.50.9 and that stopped but scanning now stuck in endless loop.

Not a problem before today. Running Windows 10 Home, build 19042.685, 20H2 latest update installed itself this morning.

Requested log files attached.
