I have an Intel NUC 11 Enthusiast. I installed the Intel Driver & Support Assistant software and use it almost daily to ensure I'm up to date. Today I was looking at the support pages and noted that a new BIOS version was released on 12 Sep '22. At no point did the Driver & Support Assistant software alert me to the fact that an update was available despite running it daily. Now I know that is just a week old but, as an active seeker of updates to ensure I can provide support when necessary, this is disappointing.
What's the point of a utility that ensures one's drivers, BIOS etc. are up to date if it doesn't?!

Hello @AlanC1
The IDSA should offer you the BIOS update. However, before using IDSA (or installing any other driver), the Intel® Chipset Device Software have to be downloaded and installed manually. After rebooting NUC, all other drivers can be updated.
Please refer to the IDSA Exclusions List.

Many thanks for your reply. I installed the BIOS update manually and subsequently the Intel Chipset Device Software you linked to. I'll see what happens next time there's a BIOS update.

@AlanC1 "I'll see what happens next time there's a BIOS update."
And, you will likely be just as disappointed as you are now. The thing you do not understand is that there is a delay between when the bios is released and when it makes it to the IDSA database, including the time it takes to post. As I said, nothing is perfect.
