I have the NUC 8i7HVK, and I am trying to update this driver, but it fails each time. I manually uninstalled the previous driver, through the Control Panel. I then restarted my NUC, and tried the installation process, to no avail. Assistance would be welcome.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I took so long to respond, but have not had a chance to get near my computer in the last two days.
Yes, I have updated the BIOS and I am on Windows 10, 1909. No outstanding updates. Tried again after the updates; same outcome.

I had the same issue with My NUC7I5 running windows 10 insider builds. I actually did a clean install of the latest insider build at the time and then it installed.

Thanks for responding.
I have just received a new machine, as mine was malfunctioning and was replaced under warranty. A clean re-install of Windows 10 was done before it was despatched to me. It seems to be a problematic installation for some setups.

insider builds, beta builds, and other nose-ring builds are not supported.

I'm competent, but not a 'techie' when it comes to computers. I don't know all the intricacies of the builds available, but I have auto updates on and all the latest updates have installed.
Having read on the Intel installation instructions that the previous version should be removed if it fails to install, I checked to see if the Intel® Management Engine driver appears in the Uninstall window of the Control Panel, and it does not. I therefore assumed I had successfully uninstalled it, and that the downloaded update would not be an issue. It is!
Anyway, thank you for your assistance. I hope I'll get there eventually. with it.
