Hello Everyone,
I recently bought an Intel NUC 10 i7 (frost canyon) for my home lab and have been trying to get it working to no avail.
The BIOS when I bought the little nugget was at v32. I upgraded the BIOS to v39 and then when I went to boot ESXi 6.7, I get the Intel NUC splash screen and then the monitor goes black. This was NOT happening when the BIOS was at v32, but I couldn't get ESXi to install due to it not seeing the network adapter.
A coworker of mine had the same thing happen to him when he set up his home lab and was using BIOS v37. I downgraded the BIOS and tried installing ESXi 6.7. Same thing happened. Still black screen.
I have gone into the BIOS to ONLY see the HDMI port, but that didn't work either. I even tried installing ESXi 6.5 as well.
What am I missing? I'm going mad over here trying to get it to work and google searching isn't turning up much besides upgrade the BIOS...
Thank you.

Hello WilliamCawley,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
I need to inform you that VMware* ESXi is not fully validated for the Frost Canyon, however, we have seen cases where it works with no problems.
First, let’s focus on making the unit boot, for that please provide the following information:
1. What is the exact model of your NUC?
2. How did you update the BIOS for the unit? Was it via the IDSA?
3. I understand that you have BIOS access, correct?
4. Is this the first time that you are setting up the unit?
5. Please try creating a bootable USB with a validated OS to make sure the unit is able to boot.
I would like to share with you the Supported Operating Systems for Intel® NUC Products
