Intel NUC 11 Extreme Beast Canyon i7-11700B and GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6750XT

I have already bought the NUC unit and looking to put in a new graphics card once I receive it. I'm looking over my options and have settled on this GIGABYTE Gaming OC Radeon RX 6750 XT because of a good deal on Newegg.

But my question is it says it takes up to 2.5 card slot space in the unit' will this cause the side not to close properly on the case since it is i believed a recommended 2.0 card slot space maximum?

If it does not want to fit I'm looking at the MSI Mech Radeon RX 6750 XT Mech 2X, but would prefer the Gigabyte since it does have a extra fan on the card for more airflow coming into the unit.

Any info on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info, 

So will not be able to go with the 6750 XT but did a little more looking and found the Gigabyte 6700 XT Eagle that will be able to fit in the NUC.
