Hi everyone,
Can you tell me if you ever had the problem of not being able to change resolution on a NUC if the monitor is not connected? I have multiple NUCs, many generations and I recently bought 2 NUC EXTREME 9 to use them (with RAID 1 configuration) for some Microsoft SQL servers. They only run the SQL services, both are placed in a rack so I don't have monitors on them, I connect to them through Teamviewer.
My problem is that, without monitor, I cannot change the resolution to anything more than 1024x768. I read some old thread (2014) that described the same problem but no solution was provided.
Can anyone give me an idea?
Thank you!

Are you updated to the latest BIOS?
You can always use dummy dongles to get around this. These are (supposedly) so that 4K resolutions can be used: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C4TWZRM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1.

Hi,
Yes, latest BIOS, latest drivers, same result.
I ended up ordering some dummies (similar with those on amazon), I'm just curious if anybody had another idea
Have a nice day!
