Re: Hades Canyon 8 i7HNK - How do you disable the skull light
How do you disable the skull light. I am not a big fan of it and a lot of other people are not as well. If anyone can assist please.
There are a number of ways to disable the skull light.
You can disable the LEDs in the BIOS under the LED section, specifically the Skull and Eye regions.
You can use the LED manager from windows to disable the Skull and Eye regions.
Or you can open the machine back up as if you were doing a fresh assembly and either unplug the LED controller, or unseat the little headers that have the small flat ribbon cables in them. If you choose this solution please do take care as the flat cables are not the most robust cables in the world.
I personally think that downloading the LED Manager from Intel is the best method.
