I bought a unit - Intel NUC M15 laptop (touch screen).
I tried a few stylus pens on the touch screen, it does not work? Any idea why?
Stylus pens that I tried - Lenovo stylus, Wacom pen.

Hello @jeeshenlee
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
In order to review this further, could you please provide us with the following information?
1- We understand that you just bought this Intel® NUC Laptop. Just to make sure, is the behavior occurring since the first day that you have the device, or did it work before at any moment?
2- Could you please provide more detailed information about the digital pens that you tried? This is since when searching online using the "Lenovo stylus, Wacom pen" we get different results. You may provide a more specific model number (if available) or links as a reference.
3- Is the touch screen not working at all (for instance, not even using the fingers to select/click on elements on the screen)? Or is the issue only with the digital pens?
4- Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system.
- Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer
- Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
- Once you have saved the file (.txt file), please attach it to your reply.
To upload and attach a file, use the "Drag and drop here or browse files to attach" option below the response textbox.
Best regards,

Andrew, thanks for your reply.
Here are my answers to your questions:
- Yes, it happens since day one. I just received the laptop two days ago.
- The stylus pen that I tried is Lenovo Digital Pen (part number GX80U45010). I can't draw using the pen on my laptop.
- The touch screen works with the finger. The issue is with the digital pen.
- I've attached the scan result.

Hi @jeeshenlee,
Do you happen to have the Wacom part number you tried? I'm opening a bug report on this and the more info we can get the better!
Thanks!

Hello @jeeshenlee
In addition to the post from Chris_V_Intel, we would like to inform you that we have posted a new iTouch Driver (version 3.0.100.223) as part of the Driver Pack for the Intel® NUC M15 Laptop Kit. We are attaching it here so you don't have to download the entire package. Please report back the outcome.
Best regards,

@AndrewG_Intel Thanks for your reply. I've right click on the file IntelTHCBase.inf > Install. However, I can't draw using the Lenovo Digital Pen still.
Question - Is this touch screen a capacitive touch screen?
I read it somewhere that the capacitive screen won't work with digital pen, it only register our finger. In order for it to work, I need to get a capacitive stylus instead of the active digital pen.

Hi @jeeshenlee,
As mentioned by Chris in a previous post the screen is capacitive, based on that reply, do you still need any assistance from Intel support?

Hello @Ronny_G_Intel , thanks for the follow up.
Yes, I have bought a capacitive stylus pen that works with the touch screen.
NOTE: For those you read this post, the capacitive touch screen on the Intel NUC M15 laptop will NOT work on digital pen but only work with capacitive stylus pen.
