Hi, I was surfing through the Intel Web for the specs of the Intel NUC 7i5BNH, and I saw that the system is compatible with the following Optane memory:
Intel16GB M.2 PCIe NVMe memoryMEMPEK1W016GA
Intel ValidatedHowever, after navigatiing through a store to find such memory, I was being offered the next level of Optane memory which is 32 Gb.
Intel Optane Memory Module 32 GB PCIe M.2 80mm MEMPEK1W032GAXTI was wondering if this 32GB Optane memory module could be compatible with the 7i5BNH?
Thanks.

Yes, you certainly can - and, in fact, for accelerating larger-sized HDDs, this 32GB version can (eventually) improve performance even more (i.e. more space for caching more files).
Be careful, there are even larger (64GB+) modules on the market, but these modules have a different purpose.
Hope this helps,

Hello all
Greetings, I would like to share with you that I have done a quick lap on my side with an Intel® NUC Kit NUC7i7BNH (https://ark.intel.com/products/95065/Intel-NUC-Kit-NUC7i7BNH https://ark.intel.com/products/95065/Intel-NUC-Kit-NUC7i7BNH) using Intel® Optane™ Memory Series (https://ark.intel.com/products/99742/Intel-Optane-Memory-Series-32GB-M_2-80mm-PCIe-3_0-20nm-3D-Xpoin... https://ark.intel.com/products/99742/Intel-Optane-Memory-Series-32GB-M_2-80mm-PCIe-3_0-20nm-3D-Xpoin...) and Windows® 10 64 bit and I was able to set the system with no problem.
Please let me know the BIOS version installed on your Intel® NUC.
Hope this help.
