wolf359, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
In reference to your question, just to confirm, is there any particular Intel® NUC model that you are interested in? This is in order for us to try to gather the information you are looking for about Toslink on that specific model.
Is there any particular reason why you need that information?
Are you a developer?
Are you working on a project?
When you mentioned "24/192 out" you are referring to the rates, correct?
Any questions, please let me know.
Regards,
Albert R.

I guess the nuc I am most interested in is the NUC9i9QNX. I am a home user who wants to hook the nuc up to a DAC for stereo music. Yes, 24/192 refers to bit and sample rates.

Thanks for looking that up. But that doesn't answer the question.

Hello wolf359, I just received an update on this matter.
After further review of the case, just to let you know, we can confirm that actually, the information provided previously was related to the supported Toslink rates, it is not related to cables.
Basically, the Intel® NUC supports the 44.1 KHz, 48 KHz, 96 KHz and 192 KHz sample rates, but it does not support the 24 KHz rate.
