I am about to purchase an Intel NUC i7 Skull Canyon Skylake (I7-6770HQ) for the purpose of decode an display two live HD video streams (RTP/UDP) with low latency.
I want to install Ubuntu and the GStreamer-MSDK on the device to be able to explit the hardware mfx decoding capabilities.
Can somebody please confirm that it is possible to build and use GStreamer-MSDK in this device ?

Hello IJoha3,
Thank you for posting on this Intel Community.
Intel has not validated Linux* on Intel® NUC products. However, Intel® NUC owners have reported Linux* distros as compatible and are successfully running different distributions.
Check the Intel® Product Compatibility Tool for more information: Intel® NUC Kit NUC6i7KYK
We also recommend checking the Linux* distro's website and forums for peer assistance:
3. Linux* Operating System Vendor Websites
Hopefully, other peers on this Intel® Community may share their experience with this setup.
