When I start up my PC for ther next 10 minutes or so the NUC is constantly accessing
and does not stop.
Is this a fault and how can I tell what it iks accessing.

Yes keeps accessing Hard Drive.
After PC has started NUC is still continue accessing Hard Drive
and keeps going for about 10 minutes.

What have you done to clean up you hard drive?
Have you cleaned up your start up programs?
What anti-virus are you running?
Have you removed all PuPs?
This sounds more like a maintenance issue.
