Intel NUC keeps running after boot up

After I setup my Intel NUC it was running for 20 minutes after bootup. Thankfully Intel replaced it. However  this one although not as bad as the first NUC still takes sometime to finally stop after bootup.

The question is Why does it run so much and is there a solution.

Previously my Win10 PC never ran as much as the NUC.

It simply booted up and then it was all setup.

The NUC keeps running.

Is there a solution?

I start up my PC which is a Intel NUC.

for some time the NUC continues to run and run.

which affects me running apps.

It runs well after it should be stopped.

That didn't tell us anything. Please describe in detail your system and what is happening (or not happening).

Anonymous, I don't understand what the problem is, either.

We expect a PC to keep running, accepting user inputs, acting on commands and displaying/sending outputs to devices as long as power is available, from a battery or an AC source of electricity. We want a PC to stop running only when the user asks it to turn itself off, go into sleep or hibernation, etc., or if the PC is left idle for an extended period.

Please help us understand what the problem is. When it "keeps running", is it unresponsive?

after bootup the Intel NUC keep booting and it is obvious by the flashing light.

The actions of the Intel NUC affects how I access the PC.

Because the Intel NUC light is still running and not completed startup.

I do not understand what you are trying to say. You are making no sense at all. If this is the best that you can do in English, please switch to your native language (we can translate).

If you cannot explain yourself better, we cannot help you; it's that simple.

Apologies for coming into this incredibly late. I have a NUC and I believe it may be suffering a similar issue that that originally raised. I will try my best to explain.

Start-up is fine, everything good, however within several seconds, the fan starts and continues to run (unabated) and the SSD light flashes (approx. every 1 to 2 seconds) non-stop. Irrespective if I am simply sitting in front of the computer having lunch (for example) while not touching the keyboard, watching vids, nothing for say half an hour.

Yep, the fan keeps going (I checked and it is 100% free of lint or dust) and the drive light flashes.

Perplexing, and I am assuming not good the NUC.

They're trying to say it's a busy intersection on the shave screen. It's my guess that it could be the persistent F10 screen. Probably assistant bios update. The one which resembles AHCI default menu not going to preinstalled EUFI key.

I have a similar weakness. If I'm in a space where only one other person can get access to the computer why do I need all the TMP and password features enabled. It's rarely used, but never completely avoided.
