Yes, this issue has been reported. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for a fix.

Hi Michael22,
I also facing the same problem on NUC not able to shut down completely.
I tried to revert back the intel display driver to 30.0.101.1069 and it is working and able to shut down completely. This work for both win10 and win11. I have no issue on lagging or the machine become slow, everything works fine, just revert back to older version incase the window update auto update again.

Hello Michael22,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
As advised by the community, that is a known issue, and we are working on it. In the meantime, please try the graphics driver version 30.0.101.1069 https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/727284/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.html and check if the issue persists.
Best regards,

On July 1st I received a bios version 46 update notification. Installation went fine. Unfortunately, bios 46 did NOT FIX the issue of the Blue light remaining on after shutdown. The only way to use the computer after this happens is to hold down the power button for 15 seconds. Doing this forces the system to shutdown completely.

I too have just tried bios 0046 and same problem of no shutdown sometimes. I have 5 of these all the same model and wish I had never bought them for my customer. I have fast shutdown off , all drivers up to date, video driver 30.0.101.1069. christ I even disable power management of the IME device.
I would recommend you return it.
Has anyone here returned them to intel? Or do you have to go through your original place of purchase or distributor in my case.
My customer is pissed off. I am pissed off.

For those out there with this problem check on your NUC11PAH version number.
I have M11791-304 and M11791-306 models. Both have this issue where as others have said M11791-303 is okay.
Please check with Intel if your version number is on their faulty list? Intel can you confirm this?

Previously I also having the issue of shutting down the device fully. I just change the display driver to 30.0.101.1069 and the issue is solved. I did not return the unit back to intel or supplier, currently I still using it without any problem. Hope this will help you.

30.0.101.1069 is a relabeled July 2021 driver originally labeled version 27.20....
Unfortunately, it has some screen refresh issues along with some Windows 11 issues.
Intel needs to get busy and investigate this issue. Bios 46 has made no difference that I can tell for any of us with this issue.
