Hello and Good Day,
I recently bought an intel nuc7cjyhn and the default or the current bios firmware looks like doesn't support legacy boot and I'm using an old Linux OS. I did install Linux on my SSD using other system and it's working there "it's because that board support legacy or CSM boot". The problem is, it doesn't recognize after installing it in my intel nuc even the usb installer was unable to detect as bootable device "but I'm pretty sure both ssd and usb flash drive are detected". I did some research here in some topic, but some features also are not available in my bios like Set Sleep Type Support to Legacy S3 Standby, but it's not helping because that tab is not available in my bios menu under power > secondary power setting.
Question: Is there any possible way to enable legacy boot or disable that uefi boot by updating my current bios firmware JYGLKCPX.86A.0065.2021.0722.1137? If yes, which firmware it can solve? Thanks in advance.

Hello @MarkQpal
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
As per the article "Intel® NUC Products Phasing Out Legacy BIOS Support" Intel is phasing out support for legacy Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) boot mode and some NUCs have Legacy BIOS support and others don't. Therefore, we would proceed first to confirm if Legacy BIOS is supported on Intel® NUC Kit NUC7CJYHN.
Please allow us to look into this and once we have more details available, we will be posting back in the thread.
Best regards,
Andrew G.

Hello MarkQpal
Thank you for your patience in this matter.
We would like to inform you that we submitted the update to the relevant article with additional June Canyon SKUs: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057401/intel-nuc.html
The article now reflects that Legacy BIOS Support is not supported on the Intel® NUC Kit NUC7CJYHN.
*Additional Note:
Just in case you were trying to look for BIOS updates in the last few days, and you found out no updates were available, we also notified the BIOS team about the missing BIOS from our Download Center. It has been updated and now it is available in the download list.
If you have any other inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact us back.
