1. Can you give more details about your system:
- what Operating System have you installed?
- what Hard Disk or SDD you have?
2. Do you see some video output: during boot attempt can you see Intel logo and F2,F7,F10 menu?
Leon
Totally no output after install the ram & Sandisk SSD Plus 240GB. When I power the NUC it shows the blue & orange light light static. I tried to unplug the SSD still the same whereby unable to boot up. My monitor show no input
Any chance it because of my 8GB DDR4 2400MHX HyperX RAM running on CL14?
The memory you are using is was not tested by Intel for this NUC, however the specification of this memory are correct, so, I'm not sure that this should be a problem. Still you didn't answer if you have Windows 10 installed?
Please try now the following:
1. Since the orange LED (disk activity) is constantly illuminated it can indicate that the SATA bus is locked. Please remove your SSD and power ON your NUC. You shall see Intel logo and you shall be able enter Bios settings by pressing F2.
2. Next, remove also the RAM module and power ON your NUC. The blue power LED should blink.

Hi Leon,
Nope I didn't have my Windows 10 install. It is a blank & new SSD. I've tried to remove the SSD connection still it shows the blue light and orange light constantly illuminated.
Yes, once I removed the ram the blue power LED keep blinking.
Thank you
Naturally, without Operation System installed, NUC can't boot. However at least you shall see Bios activity (i.e. Intel logo, F2, F7, F10 menu). So, probably some thing is wrong. Try to insert USB stick with Windows 10 installation media and see if it is booting into Windows installation. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 Download Windows 10

Hi, I also purchased my fourth Intel NUC7PJYH (previous were NUC6 Skull/NUC7I7/NUC7I3) but never faced any problem on the previous 3 devices.
But this wont boot or show Intel logo on my HDMI monitor it stayes blank.
details below
Setup:
- NUC7PJYH
- 8GB RAM (4x2) DDR4 2400 260PIN
- 500GB SanDisk Ultra 3D SSD
- Samsung 27in monitor
- HDMI to HDMI Cable
Here is the problem description:
- press power button and power led lights blue and stays blue and HDD led lights orange for few seconds then turns off,
- nothing is happening on the monitor no blinking or Intel logo showing no bios messages no beeps nothing at all.
- All components (SSD/RAM/HDMI Cable/Monitor) were swapped more than once with other working NUC7i7 and verified to be working individually.
- Since this device have dual HDMI capability both outlets were tested with the monitor and also with a TV nothing show always blank
I am starting to think that the unit is defective!
any support is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Ben
Hello Ben,
You should ask your question in a new thread. You have not informed what is a P/N of your RAM.
Any way try to recover bios from Power Button Menu:
Note:
If for some reason you have difficulty to boot into Power Button Menu, you shall recover your Bios using Security Jumper method https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005532/mini-pcs.html BIOS Recovery Update Instructions for Intel® NUC

Hi Leon,
Thanks for your response and valuable support.
I have tried the procedure described below (both methods) to upgrade the BIOS with no positive outcome.
There is nothing displayed on the screen no matter how many times and different configurations i use to get a display. (it remains with no Intel logo or bios or any messages, the screen is always blank)
All components were checked individually again with another NUC to verify that they are working correctly.
No user should be going through all this trouble and frustration to boot a machine.
I am concluding that this unit is defective and requesting a replacement.
sincere thanks to you again and the community for the help.

Ben
Hi Ben,
I want to ensure what happened when you tried to reach the Power Button Menu. You have to know that if Fast Boot option in bios is enabled, you will not see the Intel logo and the F2, F7, F10 menu neither. You will not be able enter bios. The only way to do this is from Power Button Menu or from Configuration Menu. I want to emphasize that in order to reach the Power button Menu you should hold the Power Button until power led changes color from blue to amber. Alternately, the system will emit three short beeps from the PC speaker or headphones, if installed, then stop. If you see the LED color change or you hear the beeps, release the Power Button - NUC shall reboot into Power Button Menu. While you see the Power Button Menu, press F3 to delete the Fast Boot setting.
If you can't reach the Power Button Menu by pressing the Power Button, try reach the Configuration Menu (which includes the Power Button Menu). Follow these steps:
Hope this time it will work
Leon
Hi Ben,
Did you try to connect your NUC to another monitor or TV?
My NUC7PJYH does not like Samsung brand. Under certain conditions, NUC logo does not show during the boot - just blank screen. If I keep pressing F2 during the boot, it still provides no signal, but boots into BIOS. When I short-press power button on NUC - it shuts down (like it does when in BIOS).
Hope this helps,
Peter
Hi Leon,
thanks again for the instruction.
I tried but it didn't help still complete blank.
The good news is I received the replacement and popped the memory and the ssd and it booted right up with intel logo.
Installed win 10 and Ubuntu with no prescription blemsat all.
I even downloaded the updated bios file from the link provided ver 41 and installed like a charm.
I really value the support you guys give to the community.
Have a nice weekend,
Ben.
