Intel NUC7i3DNBE Power button bypass

Hi All,

I have recently purchased NUC7i3DNBE intel board. It is up and working fine. I have used internal power supply connector (12v). Every time to switch on the board, I have to press the power button present on the board. Is it possible that without pressing the power button it should get switch on, I mean to say that if power is available then it should get switch on automatically. Can anyone guide me on this.

This question is already posted by some people. I gone through it. Power Sense option is not available in my BIOS. I just selected "Power On" option from "After Power Failure" menu. "PCIe ASPM Support" was already checked in. Now board gets switched on without pressing power switch. Thank you intel community.

Be patient. Your question will be addressed. This is not interactive chat.

Also, this is a holiday weekend, so you may have to wait until tomorrow.

You can set Wake up time in Bios:

  • Enter Bios setting by pressing F2 during boot process (when you see F2, f7, F10 menu).
  • In Bios, enter Advanced Power.
  • In Wake system from S5 field – Checkbox (When enabled, system will wake on the day/hour/minute/second specified)
  • Wakeup Date – set Numeric range 0 – 31 (Select day of each month to wake the system. Select 0 for daily wakeup)
  • Wakeup Hour – set Numeric range 0 – 23 (Select wakeup hour in 24-hour format. For example, 15 means 3 PM)
  • Wakeup Minute – set Numeric range 0 – 59
  • Wakeup Second - Numeric range 0 – 59
  • Press F10 (followed by 'Y') to save the new settings and let the NUC reboot.
