Bought the Inter NUC Kit from Amazon (see link below). It came without memory and ssd or hdd. I bought RAM and a SSD separately. After 9 months, the cooler died.
I contacted Intel and they told me I could either replace or get a refund for my unit. Replacement would take about 45 days to have the unit in stock so it could be shipped to me. I chose refund and this is when things get "interesting".
Unit cost me about 730 canadian dollars, and intel wanted to refund only about 615 canadian dollars. I asked why and the answer was: "Sir, you bought the NUC Kit, it comes with memory and disk, and we cannot accept those back, so we only pay the price for the unit".
My proof of purchase has no description on the amount of memory and disk that comes with the unit and Intel's site doesn't not list any memory (RAM) or disk (SSD or HDD) that comes with the NUC Kit:
THIS IS NO RIGHT INTEL!!!! HOW CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK PLEASE???????
