Intel NUC8i5BEH - "Modern Standby" + Windows 10 1803 = Slow LAN Network after Sleep/Wake [follow up]

The original post (https://forums.intel.com/s/question/0D50P00004EXuAlSAL/intel-nuc8i5beh-modern-standby-windows-10-1803-slow-lan-network-after-sleepwake) was closed because of waiting for new NUCs.

So now I have two new units (The model BOXNUC8i5BEH2 is still not avalable in CZ, but model BOXNUC8i5BEH is - the only difference is power cord and I have these here, so no problem).

To the point: I clean-installed Win10 1809 x64 Pro on first NUC with BIOS v66 and "Modern Standby" enabled ...

a) the Wifi adapter is visible in Device manager and available to Windows :(

b) the "Slow LAN Network after Sleep/Wake" have not occured on this NUC yet - I will keep an eye on that and will check on 2nd NUC. (Latest NET drivers installed, of course)

c) I noticed (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/126148/intel-nuc-kit-nuc8i5beh), that the newest listed BIOS is 51 ... that is even older then the one I was using when started this case (56). I read somewhere that there is some problem with password on NVMe disks in BIOSes 56-66. I have no password set in BIOS for NVMe so I am just using BIOS 66. Is that OK?

Hello there,

I just want to confirm that new BIOS 71 solved this bug on my NUCs (BOXNUC8i5BEH):

a) "the Wifi adapter is visible in Device manager and available to Windows"

Well done, Intel.

Hi @ASova ,

That's correct. If you are not setting password on you NVMe SSD, you are safe to stay with version 0066 of Bios.
