Greetings.
I hope you can help. I have an Intel NUC (about 2 years old now - I think). Recently the fan seems to have stopped working. I have installed the latest bios update, and OS updates, and Intel Management software. I really think this may be a hardware issue. How can I be sure? And if it is, what can I do about it?
I have attached a system scan taken using Intel SSU and an audio recording of the sound coming out the back of the PC (if this is of any interest or value).
Thank you for your guidance and support.

Definitely sounds like the blower (technically it's not a fan) is having a hard time spinning.
First thing you could try is cleaning out as much dirt as possible using a can of compressed air. Blow in through all openings on side and back. If that doesn't help, remove the board from the chassis, remove the blower from the board and manually clean it out.
If that didn't get you anywhere, it's decision time. You can (if your warranty is still active; check here: Determine if Your Product Is Still Under Warranty) call Intel directly and have the NUC replaced. Alternatively, you can purchase a replacement blower yourself. Here's an example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09B3HKMXS.
Hope this helps,

Hello Scott.
Your advice was spot on. I eventually took delivery of the blower today. I have installed it and all seems working tickety-boo.
Thank you very much for helping get this sorted.
