Intel Nuc 8i7Bek not connecting to Samsung Smart TV Series 5 (N5300)

Hi, this is my first time on the chat, my Intel nuc 8i7BEK will not connect to my Samsung Smart TV Series 5 (N5300) via HDMI. The TV registers that there is a cable attached but displays a 'no signal' message when I try to connect. I've tried both HDMI ports on the TV - same problem. Please help

Are you sure that the HDMI cable is OK? While NUC is connected to other monitor, can you see the video output? 

Can you try, other video cable?

Problem solved. I need to turn the Samsung Series 5 smart TV on first, then turn on the Intel Nuc 8i7, then connect the Nuc via HDMI to the 2nd HDMI port. Needs to be in this order for the TV to recognise the signal. Thanks, Lucyjim
