Intel Nuc Skull Canyon death

Hi. My unit doesn't start. No led, no boot screen, nothing at all, even the fan seems death.

I removed all the components (ram, ssd, keyboard, mouse) and still the same.

Theres is any support center on Mexico where i can bring it for repair?

Greetings

No, but if you are still under warranty (check here: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/services/000006303.html?wapkw=warranty+check Determine if Your Product Is Still Under Warranty), you can make arrangements for Intel to replace it free of charge. To set this up, you need to contact Intel Customer Support directly. Here is pages where you can lookup contact information, by geography:

You can also attempt to use the http://intelsupportchat.force.com/icslivechat/ics_tech_desktop_ww_english_Chat Intel Customer Support Chat Service, but this is offered in English only and availability is subject to office hours in Pacific TZ.

Now, a few comments:

  1. You are either looking at a failure in the base unit or a failure in the power supply. Make sure that you arrange to have BOTH of these replaced at the same time. Having to go through the process for one piece and then finding that you have to do it again for the other peice is both time consuming and a pain in the a$$. Do it all at once.
  2. Keep your memory and SSDs; do not send them with the base unit.

Hope this helps,
