Hi Intel and fellow Nuc X15 laptop users
I can't seem to get TS or XTU working to undervolt the CPU except through the laptop bios.
However, the bios doesn't indicate whether the undervolting value is in millivolts (mV) or volts (V).
Can anyone clarify what units the undervolting / overclocking use in the bios.
Thanks

Hello @stuntmanmike87
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
In order to check this further, could you please confirm the following details?
1- What do you mean when you said "I can't seem to get TS (...) working to undervolt the CPU"? What does "TS" stand for here?
2- Why are you trying to undervolt the CPU? Are you experiencing any issues regarding CPU core voltage?
3- Please describe the BIOS settings that you are referring to when trying to undervolt the CPU. Please feel free to share pictures from the BIOS as well.
4- Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system:
- Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer
- Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
- Once you have saved the file (.txt file), please attach it to your reply.
To upload and attach a file, use the "Drag and drop here or browse files to attach" option below the response textbox.
Note:
Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility displays various controls and provides access to features based on the system's motherboard and processor configurations. Not all processors provide real-time support for all controls.
Intel® XTU only supports unlocked processors. These are K/KF SKUs or Intel Core X-series processors. Installing Intel® XTU on a locked processor system may encounter unexpected issues.
Some versions of Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility can be installed in laptops or systems and these versions will not work for some tasks or purposes like "overclocking". Using the tool to change parameters (when available) such as core voltage can result in inconclusive and unreliable behavior due to an unsupported processor. For more information, please refer to these articles:

Hi Andrew, thanks for the replies.
I figured the units in the BIOS for the undervolting is in millivolts (mV).
I crossed checked with Throttlestop (TS) which confirmed this.
Cheers!

Hello stuntmanmike87
We are following up to see if you need further assistance.
Also, in case other users are also interested in this thread and the inquiry about voltage units, we would like to confirm that your findings are correct.
After reviewing this further, in BIOS under Advanced > Undervolt > Offset parameters (e.g.: Core™ Voltage Offset), at the right side of the screen it will be displayed information about the options that also indicates "this voltage is specified in millivolts". Hopefully, this may also help other users looking for this information.
In case you have additional inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact us back.
Best regards,
Andrew G.
