larry11, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
"when I touch it, and can actually burn me", please do not touch it if you think it might hurt you, safety comes first and the last thing we want is for you to get burned or suffer any other injury.
"Is this a normal temperature? ", in order for us to be able to provide the most accurate response to your inquiry, we just need to gather a few details about your machine, if you do not want to touch it, please let us know so we can try to find another way to help you:
By any chance, do you know is the specific model of the Intel® Whitebook laptop?
Or the model of the Intel® processor in it?
Is this a new Intel® Whitebook?
When did you purchase it?
Was it working fine before without getting overheated?
When did the issue start?
Did you make any recent hardware/software changes?
Which Windows* version are you using?
Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment?
Please attach the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":
Any questions, please let me know.
Regards,
Albert R.
